Toxic Bag Productions, Inc. FAQ

Toxic Bag Productions FAQ Toxic Bag FAQ

Q: What products are currently available?
A: The Game Masters Collection Volume One: The Twentieth Century, Volume Two: Monsters, Volume Three: Fantasy and Volume Four: Strange Places are currently available. Our newest CD, "Battles," is available as well. Additionally, our record label division, Toxic Bag Records has the new CDs from Donny Who Loved Bowling and Joe Griffin available.

Q: You probably just downloaded all these sounds from the Internet and put them on a CD, right?
A: For the Game Masters Collection, no. All GMC sounds are the original creation of Toxic Bag Productions, Inc.

Q: Where'd you get these sounds, then?
A: Toxic Bag's sound designers spend a great deal of time running around with a microphone and DAT recorder. When they have recorded all they can, they run back to their studio and edit the sounds on a ProTools digital audio workstation. (See our Behind the Scenes page for photos) Various other devices are used to manipulate the sounds, but you'd likely get bored with all the technical minutae and we have to keep some things secret, right? For the "Battles" CD, which is not a sound effects disc but rather a compilation of audio scenes, we used a combination of original recordings and sounds from The Hollywood Edge, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox.

Q: How do I get my hands on Toxic Bag products?
