People say nice things about us:

"Also to be commended are sound designers Joe Griffin and Steve Baldwin, whose score of unobtrusive honky-tonk ballads cleverly pre-empts any ambient disruption emanating from the actual country-western tavern next door."
--Mary Shen Barnidge, Windy City Times review of "Coronado" (Steep Theatre Company, Chicago), sound design by Toxic Bag Productions.

"There's a lot to be said for creating the right atmosphere. The overheated but enduringly relevant drama of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" briefly takes a menacing tone in this Speaking Ring Theatre Company production...director Chuck Karvelas and his design team deserve a slap on the back for creating such a rich setting for this story of the Salem witch trials."
--Nina Metz, Chicago Tribune review of "The Crucible," sound design by Toxic Bag Productions

"While I've obviously never been in the middle of a sword and sorcery melee or a Civil War battle, [BATTLES] sounds pretty much like I imagine it would." --Kenneth Newquist, Nuketown

"One of the best...BATTLES is a top notch CD and a top notch game aid. This one CD has so many uses, it's really a shame not to own it."
--Brian's Small Press Picks, Knights of the Dinner Table October 2002

"...all the war ambience you need."
--Sorting the Loot, Nodwick October 2002

"A pretty creepy collection...Made the hair on my neck stand on end...a must have!"
--Brian's Small Press Picks, Knights of the Dinner Table

SciFi.com Review by Kenneth Newquist

"Every hero needs theme music, and now even the lowliest dungeon-crawler can have some...The discs feed the imagination by providing the auditory equivalent of flavor text, those long passages of description found in almost every Dungeons & Dragons module. Using sounds to spruce up an otherwise mundane gaming experience is nothing new--more than a few gamers have diced their way to greatness while listening to the Conan the Barbarian or Star Wars soundtracks. The Game Masters Collection offers more than that, though, providing GMs with just the right sound for just the right moment.
The tracks are expertly recorded, and if they occasionally sound like B-movie clips, it's because they're supposed to...the tracks are crisp, clear and sound like what they're supposed to sound like.
Diehard game masters - the kind who have painted miniatures for every adventure and spend considerable time assembling props for their games - are going to love this collection."

"The compact discs from Toxic Bag are quality products that deliver what they advertise...these CDs are likely to please role-playing gamers who are looking for one more way to increase the immersion in their gaming experience."
--Wargamer.com, December 2002

"...guaranteed to make them jump...would be a "Sound" addition to your GM's bag of tricks."
--GameTime magazine

"Are you one of those DMs who can mimic a fabulous array of voices and make convincing sound effects during the game? Me, neither. For those of us with a limited vocal range, Toxic Bag Productions has come to the rescue with a series of sound effects for your roleplaying campaign."
--Dragon #284

"8 out of 10. In this day of overproduced and oversaturated effects, it's nice to find a few that make their point without screaming at you -- So tastefully understated that you might not even notice it. Pay attention and you'll be quite pleased." --Steve Butts, IGN.com review of "Uncommon Valor"

"The first thing you will notice about the game is the graphics, sound and background effects. In a word, they're "beautiful." In most of my wargames I inevitably turn off, down or somehow modify the sounds, music and background effects as in most cases these are afterthoughts and tinny. In this game--no way. The special effects included are very cool. Very well done." --Joe "Joss" Osbourne, WarfareHQ.com review of "Uncommon Valor."
