No Relation, Timmy G!
Timmy G!'s comedic takes on love, sex, popular culture and Things That Are Generally Goofy have made him a barroom favorite from California to Chicago (thus far in his career Timmy G! has avoided the East Coast for reasons mainly related to disputed territorial boundaries).
Primarily driven by the acoustic guitar, and shot through with his blistering harmonica playing, Timmy G!'s songs range from childlike and silly to borderline pornographic.
"No Relation" is an internet-only release and is available now from the iTunes music store and CD Baby. Features
"Princess Leia Braids" and the cult favorite "Pumpkin Coupon."

Butcher Covers, Donny Who Loved Bowling
As Donny Who Loved Bowling tried to find a way to record the follow-up to their debut album "tree fort" with one band member in Austin, Texas and the other in Chicago, Christopher Petkus and Joe Griffin began experimenting with collaboration over the internet by recording a series of cover songs. The result of this process is "Butcher Covers."
As on "tree fort," the songs on "Butcher Covers" vary stylistically, from moody atmospheric meditations to funky, edgy rave-ups to a pastiche of musique concrete and Beach Boys harmonies. But the addition of dense, stacked vocals on each song lends a unified feel as well as a dramatic new sound for the experimental duo. Featuring covers of songs by The Monkees, the Police, Syd Barrett, Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Hound Dog Taylor and Daniel Johnston.
